MULTISENSORY MATH TUTORING

At Math 4 Life my goal is to match my instruction to meet your child’s learning needs in a fun and relaxing atmoshphere. My work with your child will develop strong comprehension of math concepts and provide the learning tools that will support long-term success. Your child will be provided a true multi-sensory experience of math that will strengthen all learning styles.

Though concrete materials are used at the introductory levels of each concept, Math 4 Life strives to have your child working at an abstract level as quickly as possible. By making a connection to the concrete “picture,” your child will maintain comprehension at advanced, abstract levels of math instruction.

I also use an incremental approach to learning that provides the appropriate support for each new level of learning. Through this approach I am able to identify and address precise areas where your child may have difficulty. Your child will also be given the tools to understand his or her learning, which will greatly foster independent learning.

Math 4 Life is designed for all children in 1st through 8th grades. Whether your child is struggling with math or his or her math class is not providing enough challenges, your child will be given the appropriate support to greatly increase his or her confidence and enjoyment of math.

Math 4 Life is highly recommended for home schooled children. The program will insure a consistent, sequential math curriculum and provide additional activities and games to maintain and deepen comprehension.
