Early Literacy Support

As literacy Coordinator in the Berkeley Unified School District I received extensive training in developing and supporting early literacy skills. I use assessments in reading, writing and spelling in order to provide appropriate instructional levels and strategies. Each lesson is divided into four components, writing, spelling, reading familiar material and receiving new reading material.

Literacy support is recommended for children who are just learning to read and write and also for children who are having difficulty developing independent reading and writing skills.
