FDA: Do YOUR Duty!
'WARNING: The safety of this product has not been determined.'

Visitors, please write a letter, note or email your message to the FDA in support of EHN's FDA Citizens' Petition, 99P-1340. Check the analyses; notice more than just phthaltes were found. Demand that synthetic fragrances released to market without adequate testing carry the FDA's prescribed warning message, above. By writing, you provide a public record. Just include Docket Number 99P-1340 on your subject line.
E-mail FDA Dockets at fdadockets@oc.fda.gov

EHN's site is one of two homes of the FDA Petition, with analyses,
contact information, sample letters and complementary information. http://www.ehnca.org/FDApetition/bkgrinfo.htm

05/03 2001 is a wrap for The NEW REACTOR.
I'm working on the remaining back issues. VERY SORRY about the delay. I'm persevering despite computer problems, a trip that took its toll for months, and various EHN events that have since affected my health and well-being. If 'FRAGRANCE-FREE" events could be just that, maybe my health would hold. But, of course, fragrance-FREE calls for the co-operation and kindness of strangers. -- barb

Dear Visitors:

EHN's site is deliberately kept "fancy-free" so our EI/MCS community members can more easily use it ... and I can more easily handle the workload.

For those of you who feel you must see credentials before believing what you see on a website: I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and formerly gainfully employed. I earned an AA, while working and raising three kids. I understand that an AA in this day and age means little, but it means a lot to me. My favorite studies included Political Science and Anthropology.

When I was forced into early retirement, I vowed to make as much good information available to the public as was humanly possible for me. . . .

If you wish to read more, please visit About . . .

(Counter installed, end of day, 2/28/99
Please note, FastCounter had many problems near the end of 1999 and into early 2000. Our count had reached the 5,000 count, and dropped back 1,000 and 2,000 hits repeatedly the last quarter of 1999. FASTCOUNTER has been working fine since spring 2000. However, the current total is far under what it should read. -- barb)
