takes place late June orJuly each summer. A letter of intent to attend the following year's retreat is welcome after the summer as soon as possible. Please send to:

• "The George R. Bunker Honorarium" for a student from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia
• The "Porter Brothers Honorarium" a grant given by Anne Porter

Schools and colleges may wish to offer to cover the expenses of a student or faculty member. This has been done very successfully by Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, MA.

The local Maine grants are financed by past participants and friends who support this endeavor.

A $200 deposit will be due upon acceptance.
