Novices, who don't yet know whether webstering is or is not for them, can use the free program named SimpleText which is bundled with the software that came with your computer; or you can even use NotePad.
The $99 HTML text editors include the following:

- BBEdit from Bare Bones Software is a professional HTML text editor, and Dan Meriwether's favorite.
WYSIWYG visual Web-page editor programs include:
