- Go to the Finder, and make a New Folder;
- name the untitled folder "WebPages folder", or simply "WebPages";
- use Netscape Navigator 3.0 to go to http://www.slip.net/~gyahna/links.html ;
- download an html editor like BBEdit, or Symantec's (wysiwyg) VisualPage;
- Open SimpleText or your html editor;
- write a text document named "index.html" with your mailto: = "mailto:[your name]'s_E-mail"
- repeat forever:
- correct the document with your html editor;
- Save it;
- drag its icon onto that of Netscape Navigator 3.0;
- view the document with Netscape;
- if it fails to pass your inspection, then return to start of repeat loop;
- Open an FTP program such as Fetch;
- go to your FTP site's folder "public.html" on the Web-server at :
ftp://[your ISP (Internet Service Provider)].com/public.html- using Fetch: mount, upload, or Put the document into folder "public.html", thus:
- upload (Put) html files (such as "index.html") as text
- upload (Put) pix files (GIFs, JPEGs, &c) as raw data
- Fetch_Help_@_[your ISP (Internet Service Provider)].com
http://www.[your ISP (Internet Service Provider)].com/Web/- using Netscape Navigator 3.0, view the document at
http://www.[your ISP].com/~[your online name]/index.html- if it fails to pass your inspection, then return to start of repeat loop.
