From US Interstate 5, take the second Red Bluff exit. There are a total of 3 freeway exits for Red Bluff. You will end up on Antelope Boulevard/Highway 36 (these are different names for the same road). Please note: It is not possible to reach the property via Red Bank Road, which is closed 3 miles to the south of it. Go west into the center of the town of Red Bluff until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street. Go 2 blocks and turn left (west) onto Walnut Street at the clock tower. Follow Walnut Street for several miles, all the way out of Red Bluff to the end of Walnut, where you will see a flashing yellow light. Turn left (south) onto Wilder Road. Go south 2 blocks on Wilder Road to Reeds Creek Road at the bottom of the hill. Turn right (west) onto Reeds Creek Road. Follow Reeds Creek Road for several miles until you get to the Y-shaped intersection of Reeds Creek Road and Johnson Road. Bear left (south) onto Johnson Road past Reeds Creek School. Stay on the paved road until you cross a low metal bridge over a seasonal creek. Bear right (west). Keep going for approximately a quarter of a mile, until you seea fencepost with paint and flagging on it, and also an arrow painted on the road which points south at the fencepost. Sighting down the arrow past the fencepost, to approximately 400 yards to the top of the hill behind the reservoir. At the top of the hill is a tree marked with red paint. This tree is just inside the northeast corner of the parcel. Continue down Johnson Road another mile, to the "Pavement Ends" sign. Turn left (south) onto Joint Road, which is gravel. You will cross a cement slab bridge over a seasonal creek, then a cattle guard, then turn left (south) to stay on Joint Road. You will reach a large oak tree marked with red paint. This tree is at the approximate center of the west boundary of the parcel. IMPORTANT: Due to the fire hazard, please do not drive on the dry grass. Stay on the road. |
