and single prospective adoptive parents are eligible to
apply. No age restrictions for parents is stipulated by
the government.

and girls ages 6 months and up (at the time of referrals)
are available as well as sibling groups and children with
medical challenges.

Timetable |
Process
takes six to nine months. You will offer a referral in four
to six weeks after The Adoption Committee's approval of
your dossier. Referrals consist of a video and written medical
information. Families will fly to Baku on the first trip,
visit the child and attend the adoption court hearing; this
first trip is approximately a four-day trip. The second
trip takes place one month later and is approximately seven
days in the foreign country. The 2nd trip, families will
spend 3 - 4 days in Baku to obtain the new birth certificate,
passport, and U.S. Embassy (Baku) approval for the adoption
in Azerbaijan and then travel to Moscow with their child
to complete the required U.S. Embassy medical evaluation
and obtain the visa at U.S. Embassy (Moscow) for your child
to enter U.S.A.

Adoption
from Azerbaijan requires two trips. Both parents must be
present in the court. The first trip is approximately four
days in Baku, Azerbaijan. The second trip takes place 4
to 6 weeks later and is approximately seven days. Three
to fours days in Baku Azerbaijan then fly to Moscow for
2 days final U.S. Embassy (Moscow) interview for child's
visa to enter U.S. A legal representative will handle your
adoption case and a coordinator will escort you around Baku.

$
10,000.00 - $ 12,000.00. Fee includes a donation to the
orphanage. Dossier approvals and translation is an additional
$1,000.00. Fees are not controlled by EWA and are subject
to change without notice. Agency Fees reductions are handled
case by case. In some cases agency fee will be waived or
agency fee will be applied towards parents' dossier authentication
and Azerbaijan Embassy approvals and translation charges.
