STANFORD CONTINUING STUDIES: FROM MONO LAKE TO DEATH VALLEY

A pictorial journey of an ancient waterway and the site specific installations that the Stanford Continuing Studies students and faculty created along its path. Aryk produced this site as a way to document and discuss the artworks created on this field trip. EAST BAY OPEN STUDIOS 2000

Pro Arts Gallery wanted to present over 400 artist in an on-line tour of the annual East Bay Open Studios 2000 event. When visiting the site you can navigate by way of artist, medium, or city. http://www.proartsgallery.org/ebos2000

PORTFOLIO: SITE SPECIFIC INSTALLATION

City maps are used on the main page to introduce the concept of "site" and reveal the larger context in which these installations occurred. Thumbnails of the artworks point to their geographic locations on the maps and serve as the main menu for navigation around Kyra's site. http://aryk.com/kyra

NEW MEDIA CENTERS

New Media Centers wanted their web site to enhance communications between the organization and its members. They also required a site that could evolve forward into future ventures. Aryk created a site where New Media Centers' members have easy access to organizational information and to other members through a members-only section, chats, and information about events and other resources offered by this organization. http://www.newmediacenters.org

PRO ARTS GALLERY

The design challenge for this arts organization required Aryk to accommodate multiple volunteers adding files of varying graphic styles to the site over time. We established a top-level main menu navigation frame designed so that it would not have to be updated as the site content changed. This enabled multiple users to develop and upload files without affecting the navigation or site architecture.
