Co-Author: Healing the Divided Self
Claire Frederick, M.D., is a psychiatrist in private practice in Tahoe City, California. She has special interests in integrating hypnoanalysis, ego-state therapy, imagery, and other useful hypnotic approaches into psychotherapy with a wide variety of psychological and mind-body problems.
Dr. Frederick is a fellow of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH). In 1996 and 1998, she served as the Chair of the ASCH Annual Scientific Meeting and as Membership Committee Chair. She is also the 1998 Membership Committee Chair. She is also a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Dissociation (ISSD) and is the Program Chair of the ISSD Annual Fall Conference. She is an Adjunct Faculty memrber of the Pacifica School of Graduate Studies in Depth Psychology and serves on the ASCH Regional Workshop Faculty.
She is co-author of two books: Healing the Divided Self, and Inner Strengths: Contemporary Psychotherapy and Hypnosis for Ego Strengthening. She has also authored and co-authored numerous articles and papers. She is the recipient of several awards from ASCH and teaches workshops nationally and internationally.
