The GPC hillclimbs are:

• Pinehurst: 400' in 1.27 miles (5.8% average grade).
  From the apex of the first hairpin turn (at the trailhead) to the first white line just before the stop sign at Skyline Boulevard.

• South Park: 700' in 1.41 miles (9.5%).
  From the gate just above Wildcat Canyon Road to the gate just below Grizzly Peak Boulevard.

• Tunnel: 750' in 3.00 miles (4.7%).
  From the white fire hydrant at the point where Tunnel Road narrows and curves to the left (about 400 feet uphill from Caldecott Lane), to the intersection with Grizzly Peak Boulevard at the Diablo Drive street sign on the right. Be sure to start at the proper hydrant. There are several other white fire hydrants in the area. The correct hydrant has the Roman numerals XIII written at the curb. (See the obvious and logical hydrant at the intersection of Old Tunnel and Caldecott Lane? We mean the other one).

• Wildcat: 600' in 2.42 miles (4.7%).
  From San Pablo Dam Road at the large steel lamp post on the right to the "Inspiration Point" sign on the stone post.
