Manual Mode Panel

Panel for manipulating all machine actions by hand. Once we had established communication with the SX6 motor controller and had our solenoids in place, this panel allowed us to test the hardware and perform mock syntheses. This panel is used before and during synthesis to release solenoids (Y valves) to allow addition of reagents.

Here, the user has selected Tetrazole and Well Column 9, and a period of 1 second. Pressing the top left button will move the plate so column 9 is below Tetrazole. Pressing the button just below will also move the plate, in addition it will open the selected nozzles (7 and 8 are set here) and flow Tetrazole through them for 1 second.
