Protocol Editing and Selection Panel
This panel shows a protocol file being edited. The highlighted Hold step was just changed to a value of 5 seconds.
A Protocol file is an ordered set of actions that are followed to add a single base (G, C, A, or T) to the existing oligonucleotide. Some actions have associated volumes or periods. The possible protocol steps and associated values are shown on the left, the current file is shown in the middle. A new file can be constructed by highlighting items on the left, and inserting them into the file. Highlighted items within the file can be removed or replaced by clicking the Delete or Replace buttons.
The estimated time to run the protocol just once is indicated. This is based on the given protocol, the concentrations of reagents given, and previously established flowrates for each amidite and reagent.
