Dear neighbors,
My name is Claudia Castro and I am the Field Representative for Assemblywoman Audie Bock. I address myself to you on this occassion to ask you to send me, via e-mail, your concerns/comments regarding CalTrans' propsed lifting of the truck ban on Interstate 580. We have received many letters from concerned citizens who live along Interstate 580. I ask you to add your opinions to those who have written to us already. As you know, the Assemblywoman does not support the lifting of the truck ban and she is very interested in obtaining community input on the subject. She will attend the July 7th meeting organized by the Dimond Improvement Association. In addition, our office is also planning to hold a general meeting on the subject in the coming weeks. We will of course send you and your communities timely announcements with the meeting information.
