If you have one of those little Oakland library cards on your keys you should know that if you lose your keys someone could use the numbers under the bar code to get your name and address from the Oakland Library's web site.

Although it was true at one time, personal data is no longer available via the World Wide Web when a library card bar code number is entered. A telephone number is now required as a password, so it's wise to NOT keep your phone number with your card. This comes from library management.
