ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

David Freedman has more than 16 years experience as a teacher working for the Berkeley Unified School District. During his career as a public school teacher, he was a trained literacy coordinator, staff developer, and literacy coach. He has more than 6 years of training in Making Math Real, an innovative educational therapy developed by David Berg (www.makingmathreal.org). Since 2003 he has been a lead instructor for the Making Math Real Summer Institute and has been tutoring children in his private practice, which is located in Berkeley.
