RELIEFS IN SCULPTED PAINT BY ANDREW WERBY
Using United Artworks' proprietary Sculpted Paint process, I am able to produce polychrome sculpture that is highly detailed, light in weight, non-brittle, fade-resistant, and cleanable. Painted by hand in reverse with special paints, they are an innovation in a technical as well as esthetic sense, wedding painting and sculpture in a new way. As a vehicle for my juxtamorphic style, this process has distinct advantages; in being able to reproduce my most intricate textures, in giving me control over color in a very precise way, and in facilitating the incorporation of objects, insets, and holograms.
