  Should anyone think the chemical industry is not the driving force behind MCS
  "controversy" and its not being recognized by the mainstream medical industry, read the
  Chemical Manufacturers Association's 1990 call-to-arms, Environmental Illness Briefing Paper.

  I, among so many activists, have always said, "It is only a matter of time" . . . until MCS and
  chemical injury become recognized by mainstream medical. BUT, that means millions upon
  millions more people will have to live with and die prematurely from the toxins volatilizing from
  products released to market without adequate testing. And that also means that mainstream
  doctors will not quickly write a prescription for some mind altering drugs, swelling the ranks
  of folks with MCS who have been diagnosed as having "psychological" problems. This is a
  physiological malady. The chemical composition of commonly used personal care products contain
  neurotoxins, carcinogens, teratogens, irritants and sensitizers. Folks, there is no government
  regulation that's going to save your health, your lives. YOU had better start making wiser
  purchases of safer products . . . and the sooner the better for all of us AND our fish and wildlife
