Tuesday, April 15th, 2003 - Springy

Hee. So, I'd planned on buying a mattress even before I knew how much my tax refund was going to be this year, but the refund sure made it feel less like a silly waste of money. We didn't sleep so well on it last night, but I think we just need to get used to it is all. In fact, we both thought the new mattress felt a little convex, no doubt as a result of sleeping in a distinctly concave futon. Ah well. More bounce, and a pillowtop on both sides (no boxspring, though, as my frame only holds a mattress). We've yet to fully christen it, and may not until next week, this week is so damn busy. SIGH!

I've been oddly excited lately, but for no real reason. Haven't had enough sleep, my back hurt when I went to bed last night worse than it has in weeks (though it felt better in the morning: thanks new mattress!), but I'm all chipper. Weird. I have a couple of stories out that I have my fingers crossed over that I *should* hear about in a few weeks, and there's that ultra-snazzy Flytrap TOC I posted last entry to be all excited over . . . Tim and I had a lovely weekend together and have been really good to each other lately. I'm rejected at every school except SFSU, but I'm not going to hear from them until the end of April at the earliest, so I don't even know where I might be living a year from now. Then of course the Nebulas are this weekend . . . and I'm sure there's soemthing I should be doing about that. I dunno, so much in my head, I should be stressed, but I'm not.

Best not worry it too much.
