Monday, January 24th, 2000 -
It's raining. It's crying down outside, making my 10 minute commute turn into an hour of stop-and-go. Stop and go traffic makes my car overheat after half an hour. If my car breaks down, I'll just be another cog in the delay wheel. Luckily (knock on wood) that didn't happen.

I'm confused. I don't know how much I should talk about it here (and , yes, I know that the above sentence is a journallers no-no. Tough).

Sorry. This connection is hanging again!!! I'll have to deal with this later.....erth ARGH!

Wonder if the water

Ever blames the ground when it's

oversoaked

Wonder if the worms

Get snarky at having to surface

To breathe.

Wonder if it matters.

Ground like a sponge, sitting in a bucket

Sky like a face streaked with tears.

We just walk through this wall of water.

Squish on the spongey ground

Slip on gasping earthworms.

Geez

No wonder we walk around

with lips curved like umbrellas.

Rain rain rain.

What a pain.
