Anyhow, I'm sorry I haven't
written the last few days; I've been trying not to dwell on the fact that
I haven't
had work ('till today). I was very worried last night, but got a last
minute call this morning and got some hours in. Phew! I hate waking up
at 5am, worrying about my finances. I finished Basatard out of
Carolina, then got up and started making scrambled eggs to cheer
myself up. So I was sorta ready when they called. Speaking of which, I
should go to bed so I can be brighter eyed tomorrow :-) I just wanted to
tell you . . . well, mention that I've been writing. I'm pretty excited
about the piece I'm working on. I'll try to say no more until I have a
draft, as I don't want to jinx it. But, well, yay! And I found out I
can take graduate level courses through Open University, and there's a
short fiction class at a good time for me. If I go to grad school there,
up to 6 credits will count towards my degree. I think it's a good way to
"test the waters", AND get a writing course in at the same time, don't
you agree?
