How very odd. I had weird dreams last night too, and they were oddly
similar to Tim's. Okay, so I didn't dream about having great sex with
mysterious women (at least, I don't remember having such dreams, at
least, not last night), but I
did have a dream where I was at a school or compound of some kind. They
assigned me to a room they called the loft, which was on the very top
floor of a very, very tall building. It had skylights and soft carpeting
and was surrounded on all sides by glass walls. For some reason, this
piqued my fear of heights, and I spent most of the dream clinging to the
floor, crying for Tim to come save me.
If you've read Tim's entry
for today, that last bit should evoke the theme to "The Twilight
Zone". Life goes on. As you can see, I wrote this weekend,
mostly the collab with Tim, but also on my own stuff. I need to write an
article on Nalo Hopkinson this week sometime, and I'm starting to freak
out about it a little; I approach her books on a deeply personal level,
which might
make it hard to write a coherent essay on them. Either that or I'll write
something amazing. Yeah. I got email from my little sister this morning
informing me that she's moving in today. A later phone call negates the
"today" part, but it still remains unknown as to whether Holly will need a
place to live or not. I'm glad I can be here for her, that she has
options, but I'm also bemoaning the fact that it would have to be this
week. From the vantage point of last weekend, this week looked
empty. Somehow, come Monday morning, I realized that I had scads of stuff
to do and I would likely notget it all done this week. Sigh. At
least I have lots and lots of cool stuff to look forward to next
weekend: a big group birthday party and the love of my life moving
in. Ahhhh. I think that's enough of a journal entry for today. I put
up some pictures of me and Tim yesterday, so you can check
those out if you're wanting more.

Happy Birthday Susan!
Susan kicks off Leo
Birthday
week around these parts. Happy birthday, girl! I'm glad to have a friend
like you; the neighborhood's a lot more exciting since you moved in :-)
Exercise log:
That fun kind . . .
Writing log:
Wrote another collaboration with Tim, "The Ever After Book Shoppe" which I
like much better than "Blue Chuck". It's a love story, the type which I
would never write on my own (I wrote the opening, we alternated parts we'd
already talked through, then Tim ended it; I'm glad he ended it, as
I would've made it an unhappy ending . . . ). While Tim was writing his
parts, I worked on my new concept for "Goat Girl".
I'm currently reading:
