Yes, I will make Tim
write me a guest entry sometime soon. It seems only fair,
yes?
For those of you who don't follow links, Tim and I are all moved in and
are in the throes of domestic bliss. More or less. There are still boxes
in the living/dining rooms and landlady stuff to deal with, but he's here
and his room is very cute. We're nesting. I'm pretty tired
today. Last night was one of those nights where I can't quite sleep as
much as I'd like. Weirdo dreams, too, although one of them Tim pointed
out will make a great speculative short story (all "li-fi", like I like to
write them). We rolled out of bed and I stumbled into the kitchen to get
my coke. I was only one sip into it when Tim came boudning out of the
bathroom (much like tigger), joyfully outlining our plans for the day, or
at least the next hour. I didn't take well to being told what to
do. Not first thing in the morning, before I'd caffienated. After my
first coke, I realized he was just making suggestions. But, for a minute
there, I was really resenting feeling as if someone had moved in and was
telling me what to do with each and every hour of my day. Ah, I could
babble longer, but I should finish up email and sign off so Tim can log on
and do some work. We are now sharing a dial-up connection. We must get
networked and DSL soon. So many adjustments! As I said in my Tropism
entry, neither one of us expects this to go without a hitch, without bumps
in the road. But, ultimately, I'm thrilled to have a bumpy road all our
own to ride down. I live with my love! Huzzah!

Adjusting
First of all, I should point all of you to my guest entry
over at Tim's
journal. It details much of Friday afternoon and evening. His next entry
goes through the rest of the weekend pretty well, and since I was with him
the entire time, well, it covers my weekend, too. Exercise log:
Moving boxes (each weighing under 10lbs). Sex. Going up and down the
stairs to Tim's room.
Writing log:
Let's see, got a rejection from F&SF, but I've been to busy to do much
about it. Must work on sending that out again today.
I'm currently reading:
