Just out of curiousity, I took the Purity Test again, this time answering yes only if I'd done it before moving to California. Here are my results:

Your Ultimate Purity Score Is...

Self-Lovin'36.7%
When I think about you - or anyone - I touch myself
63.9%
Shamelessness54.8%
It takes a couple of drinks
78.6%
Sex Drive 42.1%

76.8%
Straightness3.6%

Gayness 28.6%
At least one weekend of ecstacy
82.1%
Fucking Sick67.3%
Dipped into depravity
89.3%
You are 39.64% pure
Average Score: 71.6%

So, I've become 20.71% less pure in the past 6 years (tomorrow being the 6 year anniversary of my move to California).

Anyway.

There's a flu going around the office; two of the four of us in the "tank" were out sick yesterday and the two of us who came into work compared symptoms we've been experiencing (sore throat, cough). This prompted my manager to ask, "What do you four do in there all day, make out?" Unfortunately, no, but we do flirt mercilessly with one another. It's way fun.

This week is weird for me and next week will be weirder. Tim leaves for Rio Hondo on Sunday morning, and it'll be the first week without him (indeed, the first time we've spent a night apart) since he moved in almost two years ago. Sigh. I'm already missing him, trying to spend as much time as possible with him this week to "save up" for next week. There might be some strange journal entries here next week -- I'll have lots of time to fill.

I let my sister read what I have of my YA Novel a few nights ago, and she loved it. This pleases me greatly. Sure, she's my sister and she's loved everything I've written so far, but still. She paid me a typical sibling backhanded compliment when she said, "Gee, Heather, I didn't realize you could write. This is like, long and sustained and it builds and shit. Wow!" As insulting as it was, I took it as a good sign that I *can* write a longer work. I repaid her "compliment" with one of my own: "Well, sissy, I'm writing for 13-year-old-girls, so if you like it, I *know* they will!"

Aren't siblings grand?

Actually, things have been really nice with Holly lately. As much as Tim and I need to live alone together, if we have to live with someone, at least it's family. Sure, sometimes we take each other for granted, but at least we're not always having to tiptoe around. Plus, I can walk around naked. (They're both jelaous that I'm the only one able to do that.) I'll miss Holly when we don't live with her anymore. And I'll really miss Aleister.

Oh, that reminds me, I haven't had a baby picture up here in awhile. Here's one I took the night we got back from Wiscon:

And with that, I'll say ta ta for now!
