Wedsday, March 17th, 1999 - Kiss my Blarney!

I decided to be honest, and skip Tuesday. But I'll be telling you about it anyway...
Yesterday I spent awhile chatting in the Clean Sheets chat room. Mostly with Shmuel. We had a really good chat...I really got some stuff off of my chest. In fact, our talk was so nice I stayed an extra two hours at work! There were fringe benefits besides the chat, mainly the magnificent sunset behind the mountains just north of the Golden Gate bridge. The bridge gets all shimmery, and the mountains go smoky and the sky lights up with these amazing coral streaks....
sigh....
David came to pick me up at 7, dropping me outside my gate. As I walked in to the garden, I gave a start, as someone had nailed down all the copper border* around the vegetable bed. David was already zooming away, so I waited a few minutes, then called him. He answered with, "yes, I did". He did it because it needed to be done (and he feels - rightly so! - that it's as much his garden as it is mine), and he didn't mention it because he wanted me to be pleasantly surprised when I came home. I was!
Then I watch "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with Aron and Sharon. It was a terrible episode. Nice to have a housemate activity, even if Aron is very vocal about his opinion when something sucks.
Then there would have been a new jouranl entry, 'cept I remembered that I had walked to Good Vibrations during my afternoon break and had bought a new vibrator. That's all the information you're getting on *that*.
Felt awful this morning, saw Dr. Steve, felt better. Trying to decide what kind of treatment to get from him. My choices are corrective or relief care. The difference? Well, let's just say that corrective is going to be over $400 a year AFTER the $250 deductible! Argh.
Bits and pieces today, folks. Bits and pieces.
Got real excited about the CD project today. Spent half my lunch talking to Steve, who pointed me to a website where we can buy cheap recordable CDs and stuff. Have any of you any experience with this? I need to call Todd - he'll have some advice on this too. Steve suggested buying the CDs we can print on, then buying a silk-screening kit from an art store and doing the labeling by hand with the kit. Dunno. So much to think about...

I did figure out a way to have Holly read the second voice for part of "Golden Apples". It's pretty clever, and it works with the story....no, I'm not going to tell you, and I don't care how much you squeal about bad manners in webjournals. You'll just have to buy the CD and find out.

It's been a long, fragmented day (if you couldn't tell by this disjointed entry). Have a good night, kiddos, and sleep better I've been lately!
