Next I never
did write that story I was going to write on Saturday. Fuck. It
would've been a good one, too. Ok, looking forward: Despite my
exhaustion, I plan on working out tonight. It helps get the stress out of
my body and I feel better for it. I hope to eat dinner. Maybe pull some
weeds. Read. Then go to bed. I'm very excited about this schedule, and
I hope that sleep part at the end goes really, really well. Seriously, I
want to be asleep by 8pm. I hope my housemates aren't planning a
party. Tomorrow is yoga and Buffy. Yay. I hope to have Jeff over for
a fresh salad and dinner either Wednesday or Thursday. It depends on his
schedule, on whether or not he's free. I hope this works out, as he's
really such a soothing influence on me these days. Speaking of
influence, I'm hoping to write this week. Maybe I can get enough rest to
coax that story out of hiding (it ran screaming after the events of this
weekend, which I was afraid of). I could use a good story right
now. And, finally, some pre-good news (or pre-news that will be good if
it happens): Jenna and Melissa are in the final stages of procuring a new
apartment - 5 blocks from my house! Walking distance! Do you know how
good it will be to have a couple of cool female friends living WALKING
distance from my house? Ooooh, I'm so excited! I'm really hoping they
get the place! That's it. Looking on the bright side. I'm
concentrating on the present and the future these days, as those clouds
behind me don't need me poking around in them any more; I hate getting
soaked by the past.

Exercise log:
Nothing physical.
Well, thank gods that weekend is over! Not that I'm sleeping very well; I
got all of 2 and a half hours of fitful sleep last night. I got maybe 5
fitful hours on Saturday and maybe 4 or 5 on Friday. I knew this weekend
had the potential to suck ass and I'm sorry to say it did. I'm currently reading:
The Parable of the Talents (Book 2 of the, um, Parable series) by
Octavia Butler
Martians (short stories based on the
Mars trilogy,
which I just finished) by Kim Stanley RobinsonPrevious
