Thursday, September 13th, 2001 - Deliciously trivial

Tonight we had Susan over for dinner and a showing of High Fidelity. Actually, it wasn't all that well planned out; Susan was giving us her old loveseat (because she got a new couch today) and after helping us move it over we didn't want her to go right away. It's always nice to have Susan around; Tim and I both get along with her really well, and neither one of us feels the pressure to keep the conversation going - she's friends with *both* of us, which is always nice.

Anyway, partway through Tim got out the Beefeater's Gin I bought a few nights ago, and we all had G&T's. Yum. I'm deliciously tipsy right now, and it's the happiest I've been all week.

Yes, I know the dangers of drowning one's sorrows, but hell. It's a nice break from feeling so depressed, you know?

Still, must get job - SOON! Very nervous about not making money every day. Fighting off illness and national tragedy do not help this feeling.

No, I'm not going to say anything too serious in this entry. It's just a little slightly drunken rambling to fill a few minutes of your day.

That's it for right now, too. Tim's right now writing an entry while we speak, so I'll surrender the phone line to his uploading for your reading pleasure. Go to it, now.
