Friday, September 10th, 1999 - Illin'
Ok, this isn't a head cold. This is the Playa Plague - the same icky flu that had Jodi reclining in her tent reading my book all week during Burning Man. I came home from work yesterday after lunch because I was shivering and hot at the same time. I'm geting worse, not better, and my cough frightens small children and causes birds to take flight en masse from their trees. I haven't had a cold/flu this bad since I left the more extreme climate changes of Indiana. I had forgotten how utterly miserable and lonely having a head and lungs full of snot is. I have no appetite, but I can't remember....is it starve a cold and feed a fever or vice versa?

I hate this.

So, you'll forgive the short entry today, yes? Oh, thank you...I love you guys, I really do.
