My Friends from College

Franklin's big problem is that it's located smack dab in the thick of Indiana (about 20 miles south of Indianapolis). I actually liked the small-town atmosphere; I could visit any number of friends with only a 5 minute bike ride. I had several groups of friends in this town (still have most of them, of course):

College/Theatre

• Kellie - my roommate for two years. Maybe the most beautiful woman I know, her degrees in psych and theatre make her a keen listener and a good objective moderator. One of my very best friends.
• Brian - Lucky enough to be marrying Kellie soon, this funny, outgoing guy is also one of my closest friends. He's one of the few people I know actually using his English degree; he's an editor for the "For Dummies" books.

• Shel - A very close friend and great morale booster. Shel can bring ease to any social situation. She's currently living in Portland, Oregon and going to chef's school.
• Rob - Shel's boyfriend and a very fun, outgoing guy. He's also going to cooking school in Portland.
