That beautiful, beautiful man was posing with the pegasus when we went to take pictures of it. It was actually very hard to get a decent picture, as there were photographers crowded all around.
The question about this sculpture was, "Is it cresting or is it drowning?" I still hold that it is cresting . . .
There were several mobile dragons on the playa this year. Most of them shot flames of some length, and one of them could turn his head and looked very, very real and scary at night. Not this one; this is the one that was around when I was taking pictures.
