This has been a favorite event for reenactors on the west coast. The event is put on by CHAS and members of all 4 northern California groups participate. Ground charges, full-scale artillery, horse drawn caissons and limbers and cavalry will be present. The event benefits CHAS' horse rescue program. Straw, firewood and water will be provided to reenactors. Concession style food and beverages will be available to the public during the days.

All reenactors should bring their ACWA membership cards to present to a CHAS representative at the gate. If you lost your card, CHAS has a one page waiver for you to sign.
Directions
Take Highway 101 to the River Road exit near the Russian River resort area. Go West past Guerneville to Duncan Mills. Go over the Moscow Road bridge, then make an immediate right on Freezeout Road and follow the signs.
