Thursday, August 24th - Cut
So, I know I've been whining here too much lately. Sorry. I'm just so busy. David pointed out that I spend far too much time worrying about stuff I have no control over; my response is that it's just my creative mind exploring all possibilities (and making up the most dramatic outcomes possible, it's true). Anyhow, I'm tired of having such a hard time falling asleep and an even harder time staying asleep. I hope things mellow out soon.

Looking on the bright side: exercise is working for me. I've lost 2 pounds a month (8 pounds total). I can make a respectable bicep muscle in my right arm and almost in my left. My legs are getting a little more cut. I feel better. When I work out, I crave protein, not sugar. I have more energy. I can sprint without losing my breath (ditto walking up most stairs and hills). I'm getting some definition in my lats (yay, side sit-ups). If I keep this up, I should look pretty good by Xmas. El says she can already see a difference in my face, which is cool. If I can lose the 2 pounds a month for a year, that's pretty close to an ideal weight (and at such a slow, steady rate that I think it will have a better chance of staying that way).

I always wanted to be good about working out.

I've got MacZone on email now, which gets me faster responses. I may just have my order by tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. I should resign myself to Monday, so I don't get too disappointed.

I guess that's it for now. I may put up something more exciting later.

Oh! I almost won $15 last night - if only Kelly had WON! Luckily, no one in our pool voted for Rich, so we all got our money back and I was the closest to winning.

I don't wanna talk about it right now. Sigh.
