Thursday, August 7th, 2003 - Farmhouses!

Whoot! I wrote tonight (Wednesday)! I finished the rough draft for the story I'm submitting to the Strange Horizons workshop. I'd written most of it by hand (well, I thought I had), but by the time I typed it all in last night, I was too tired to write more. Tonight I sat down and wrote 2100 words for a total of 3600! Yay! Go me!

You have to forgive me. This is the first time in ages that I've managed to log a decent night of writing, and it feels really good. You kinda get worried, even if there are outside things keeping you from it, that your knack for cranking out words has gone for good. I owe inspiration to Jenn, Jen, Tim and, most likely, the Honorable Mention in the Year's Best Fantasy in Horror. It's so nice to be back in the saddle again!

Again, I forgo cat stories. But I have so many! But I am tired!

Let me hear you say, "Whoo-hoo!"
