No, my life isn't horrible - in fact, I usually
am amazed at my own good luck these days (most of it having to do with
having a wonderful boyfriend and being in love). But not everything is
peachy. Today was one of those bad RSI days where it hurt to
breathe; my right shoulder blade being pressed by my expanding
lungs was driving me nuts. I left work way early, after working out a new
schedule with Janine (who isn't nearly as bad as I make her sound here,
really). My new schedule cuts my hours down to 24 a week. Eep! But, I
really can't work more than 6 hours a day - this is the kind of job where
I have to plug away, be *doing* something the entire time I'm on the
clock, and it hurts, hurts, hurts. So, now I work Monday thru Thursday,
from 10 'till 4. I love this schedule, but I really am worried about
money. Maybe some voice recognition software and some freelance writing
gigs will help fill it out? I dunno. I'm trying not to freak out about
it right now. Ah, David is here and we're hanging out tonight, so I
should go be a good hostess. Chat with y'all later.
My new PO Box is: Heather Shaw

The Good the Bad and the "letting go"
Marissa
is the only person I've ever known who has good luck come in
threes. Congrats, M'ris, on:
Can I rub your belly, M'ris,
for good luck? Exercise log:
Stretched, did 250 various situps and 25 minutes on the precor. David
told me I'm "letting myself go", which pissed me off but *did* get my ass
back into the gym today, so, y'know. I guess it's ok.
Writing log:
Typed in "The Janitor's Night Dive" (which hurt to do). 1020 words. It's
so little and cute! I love it!
