Last weekend I spent entirely in
pain. I pulled a neck muscle Friday night and an expensive massage did
little to relieve my pain. Monday the chiropractor snapped stuff back
(disturbing to hear your neck crack and you chiropractor huff, "boy, that
was really stuck!" My neck is not a jar lid). There is still pain,
however, and I am unable to do 8 hours a day of data entry at my job,
which is going to cause financial ruin if I'm not careful. I am so
frustrated with the constant pain, I don't know what to do. I have to
work. I have to eat. I have to pick things up (even lifting a glass of
water hurts). Everything is a mess because I avoid reaching and putting
and stuff like that. Add to this the fact that my old friend from high
school is in town (which is cool, but added social obligations) and then
MA decided at the last minute to spend most of her spring break at
David's, which is ok, except that I do tend to rely on him for help with
things (not to mention emotional support), and now *he's* got added social
obligations too. We're all so damn busy and all I want to do is hang out
on David's futon and watch Big Cat Diary with him. At David's I can wear
sweats and a t-shirt and not worry about if my hair needs
washing. Sorry. It's just a bad week for me. I'm a little bit, oh,
premenstrual right now. I wish I had a happy drug, just for this week.

The Ides of March
Briefly, because this hurts to type:
Exercise log:
Limited runs on the precor machine and stretching and situps. Lifting
weights hurts my arm right now.
Writing log:
Need to get me some voice recognition software.
