The second thing is that Tim
sold a
story, "Annabelle's Alphabet" to Lady Churchill's
Rosebud
Wristlet, a very prestigious publication indeed! The story
is one of
Tim's rather literary ones, and I was impressed with it. I've
been told
that Tim should take his writing more seriously, that he could
write some
more impressive things if he'd just put his mind to it, and,
back when I'd
only read a few of his stories, I probably agreed with this
assessment. But now I'm beginning to realize that Tim's got
more
versatility in his writing style than most of us, and that he
sure as hell
can do literary well when he puts his mind to it. However, I
suspect
that he likes writing his fun, cool, action stories
more. Other than
that, not too much to report, really. Tim and I had a good
weekend
together, even if yesterday was the slowest, hottest, Sunday-est
Sunday
we've had in awhile.

A few things
So, a couple of things I've forgotten to mention in my last
entry. One is
that I am now a proud member of the Web
Rats. This is an invite-only webring of writers, and I'm
honored to
have been asked to join. Exercise log:
Yes. Today. Really.
Writing log:
Forgot to mention two things:Current Publications:
San
Francisco City Guide at EGrad.com. Written by me,
edited by
someone else.
I'm currently reading:
Earthquake Weather by Tim Powers
Okay, so I'm
just reading the very rough
first draft of the chapters fresh off the 'puter, but damn, it's
already
good!
