2000 Sending my baby off soon. You won't hear from me probably until Monday. Got my tix to come home, Mom! Going home sick now - nauseous. Blech.

Over did it. Lifted weights: legs. Forgot my abs. 22 minutes on the elliptical machine. Limped home.

Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
Not far into this book and it's pissing me off. Building suspense is fine, but this book is trying way too hard, not giving me enough info to figure out what the hell is going on, and is being far too coy in the process.
