Monday, August 28th - To Do
Yesterday I got up really early. I knew I had to work at 6am today, so I wanted to be sure I was good and tired Sunday night so I could get some sleep. I worked like a madwoman all day long, and this is what I accomplished:

  • breakfast at Mama's, where I organized yesterday's packing list into groups of items packed together. So now I'll know exactly what's in tooltub #1, #2, my backpack, etc.
  • filed all my writing stuff by story - hours of work here, amazingly enough
  • packed almost all my Burning Man stuff - clothes, tools, supplies. I only need to pack my food and toiletries and I'm set.
  • ran to Home Depot with David, where I bought some remaining supplies - those that I could find
  • gardened - set in a bunch of flowers in my container gardens and two 6-packs of lettuce in the veggie bed.
  • made white bean quesadillas to go with the salsa David made (both so yummy we were stuffed by the time we were done - there was no salsa leftover!)
  • mended two of my sexy little tops for Burning Man
  • was in bed by 11pm.

Anyhow, I've got my time scheduled down to when we leave on Thursday morning. I don't think my housemates are pleased that I'm packed up so early - there's a mound of stuff in the dining room, waiting to go. My biggest worry is that we'll have enough room for everything once we get there . . . .

Exercise log:

Transplanted many plants yesterday. Ran errands like a madwoman. Managed to locate at least 8 items I needed at Home Depot in less than an hour. Miracles abound.

Writing log:

Oh, I wish I had time to write!
