Monday, January 20th, 2003 - Looks Good Enough To Eat

I'm sort of cheating on a journal entry, but I thought you might like to see some nifty photos taken with our new digital camera we got for Xmas from Tim's mom (thanks, Cindy!).

Aunt Heather. This was taken on Xmas day, so the baby is already bigger than this, you know. Yeah, yeah, will try to get newer baby pictures up soon; he doesn't like having the flash go off in his face, though, and it's hard to make yourself make the baby cry.

We went to Spooky Con last week, and this is what I looked like (Tim gave me a good review, so, you know. . .)

This is a cool building down the street from where the con was (between Chinatown and North Beach in SF), so I took a picture of it. Tim says it's all artsy, not blurry.

This was taken on New Year's Day, in the house where Tim used to live. That's Lynne behind me and the cat is a very friendly Russian Blue that was rescued from the pound by a friend of hers.

This is the jewelry box I made for Holly for Xmas. I'm hoping to make at least one other for the Wiscon Art show, so no one steal my idea, now ;-)

And this is the beach shadow box I made a few months ago. Again, this may be an Art show piece (or one like it). I like doing shadowboxes/ dioramas.

This is my mother in our kitchen, cookin' up some healthy food for all of us. This is an incredibly cute picture, but it makes her look too house-makery. I should scan in the sexy mama shot of her in her new sparkly dance top, so you can see just how good she looks!

Ah, the pride shelf. Sure, most of it is Tim's, but at least two of those anthologies have something by me in them. The cool blue crab up top was a gift from Karen when she moved last year . . .

And this is my sweety, the love of my life, the reason to get up in the morning (though it's hard to do, when he's looking this cute).

Is a picture worth a thousand MB of bandwidth?
