"TAIKO BASICS" Beginner Taiko Course |
Through out the year we teach a beginner taiko course called "TAIKO BASICS." This course is generally 4-6 sessions in length. Please check our calendar for details on the date, time, and location for our "Taiko Basics" courses.
Each class covers a different but related topic: "Ji Uchi" and "Ou Uchi" rhythms; "Kata" and movement; "Kumi Daiko" performance techniques. Students can take individual classes, but are encouraged to take the full course.
After completing "Taiko Basics" students can continue taiko lessons by joining our "Community Group."
Fees and registration for "Taiko Basics" is managed via EventBrite, and our classes can be found by searching our events on their site:
