Tatsumaki Taiko is a group of percussionists from the San Francisco Bay Area, who are dedicated to celebrating the rhythms of diversity through the sound of taiko.

* Irasshaimase! * = 2025 TAIKO EVENTS = -- **2025 NEW** Come take beginner taiko classes!! Our "Taiko Basics" course starts Wednesday January 29, 6:30pm-8pm. The course will be on Wednesday evenings until February 26. The course will be held at our taiko studio: 4521 Barrett Ave, Richmond (near the El Cerrito border). Tickets are available via EventBrite, search for "Tatsumaki Taiko" to find the class information. -- Our taiko class schedule: Sunday mornings @ 10am for our Community Group (Beginner) and 12pm for our Performing Group. Tuesday evenings @ 6:30-8:30pm Community Group classes; and Thursdays @ 6:30-8:30pm for Performing Group rehearsals. -- "Genki Taiko" classes! Taiko for fun, fitness, and health.
