Tatsumaki Taiko is a group of percussionists from the San Francisco Bay Area, who are dedicated to celebrating the rhythms of diversity through the sound of taiko.

* Irasshaimase! * = 2024 TAIKO EVENTS = -- We have moved to our new studio! As of May 2024, Tatsumaki Taiko has moved to our new studio space: 4521 Barrett Ave, Richmond (near the El Cerrito border). -- **NEW** Come take beginner taiko classes!! Our "Taiko Basics" course starts Sunday September 1, 2pm-3:30pm. The course will be on Sundays for the month of September. The course will be held at our Barrett Ave. studio space. Tickets are available via EventBrite, search for "Tatsumaki Taiko" to find the class information. -- Our taiko class schedule: Sunday mornings @ 10am for our Community Group (Beginner) and 12pm for our Performing Group. Tuesday evenings @ 6:30-8:30pm Community Group classes; and Thursdays @ 6:30-8:30pm for Performing Group rehearsals. -- "Genki Taiko" classes! Taiko for fun, fitness, and health.
