Just your basic bike, with "custom" hard bags. I think a little visible crash damage suits a bike well, displaying a sense of honesty in aspirations and expectations.

Totally rockin' roof rack. Stow and go.

Somehow, loud internal-combustion vehicles and nature DO go well together.

How idyllic. Bike, car, and neighborhood. Bump starts are just a few feet away.

After a while, a bike begins to look (even more) naked without the hard bags.

Keep it simple, silly. Particularly if your carpentry skills leave something to be desired.
